Pony Club Camp is the most fun part of being a member of the Pony Club. The members of the club organize a weekend of camping and lessons at a certain venue. In the past we have gone to places like Aspen Grove Equestrian camp near Vernon or Chase Creek between Vernon and Kamloops. In spring and summer of 2009 we had the opportunity to enjoy both. During Camp the members and their family camp and enjoy pot luck dinners and games as well as 2 hour lessons per day, Saturday and Sunday. There are usually one flat and one jumping lesson, all offered by a certified coach.

The camps can be done with another club or our own club. It is a fun way to meet other riders around our region. We usually have the camp in May or June so the weather is suitable for Camping. The members enjoy the opportunity to look after their ponies in a new environment. It is a great way to learn and try new aspects of riding, team-work with fellow members and stable management.

The evenings are always full of fun and excitement. After the potluck dinner the members will put on a skit, show or play, or have a treasure hunt around the new property. Camp is always a nice way to welcome new members and get back into the saddle again after a winter!
